The Nett BlueMAX™ system typically provides a reduction in NOx emissions in the range of 65-90% under transient diesel engine conditions and over 90% in steady-state operation. The system also reduces 70-90% of hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions.

The Nett BlueMAX PLUS™ and BlueMAX ULTRA™ systems include a passive diesel particulate filter or an active diesel particulate filter, respectively. The particulate matter filtration efficiency of the diesel filters typically exceeds 90%. The filtration efficiency of the elemental carbon fraction of diesel particulates (soot) is 95-99%. The combination of the SCR system and DPF results in high hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emission reductions. Passive filters are generally used on engines run under heavy load, with active filters used on engines which have a lighter duty cycle.
